A sunny late November day ,with a dry parking field despite the recent monsoons.
Although senior entries had easily passed the 160 limit earlier in the week there were quite a few race day withdrawals due to sickness and injury, which meant that we were able to accept additional entries on the day.
A record turnout for the junior races due to both Ambleside AC and Helm Hill Runners having them in their 2015 junior club championships led to some stiff competition.
In the senior race Steve Swarbrick and Heidi Dent both converted previous runners up places into wins in the men's and women's categories.
