The inclusion of the junior races in Ambleside AC's club championship helped boost junior numbers to a record 67 competitors.

The juniors got the best of the weather and conditions became mistier during the senior race leaving the 152 runners with murky views on top of the Knott.
In the senior race Paul Webb knocked almost two minutes off his 2012 winning time to set a new course record of 34m 56s ,and Annie Conway repeated her 2012 ladies win.
