All entries are on the day only ,except for juniors who have pre-entered the 2024 Dallam Junior Race Series (this is the 3rd race of 3)

A significant proportion of race proceeds will be donated to St John's Hospice North Lancashire and South Lakes.

Holgates have very kindly allowed us to continue using Hollins Farm as the race venue despite the campsite now remaining open into the winter months. So as with the last few years we'll need to limit our use of the amenities block area to accessing the toilets only and also have due regard to any campsite traffic using the farm access lane and yard area.

Parking
Please park in the front field area as directed by the stewards ,and try to car share if possible - don't attempt to drive down the farm/campsite access lane as this will interfere with the race route and pedestrian circulation.

Registration
Junior and senior registration in opposite sides of the event shelter near the start/finish.

Juniors desk open at 10.15 , Seniors at 10.45

Entries will close 20 minutes before start times to ensure that races get off promptly. Please arrive at the start area 10 minutes before your race is due to start so that a head count cross check can be completed and any final briefing can be given.

Kit Requirements
While we're hoping for a sunny Autumn day who knows what the weather will be like in late November! So bring appropriate clothing including a waterproof top ,leggings, warm hat and gloves and be prepared to carry them if instructed to by the organiser.

Junior kit requirements as for seniors above.

PLEASE READ THESE ADDITIONAL NOTES ON SAFETY

Take care! There may be slippy rocks and leaves underfoot. Watch out for tree roots and branches. Remember that it’s a fell race and not a road 10K!

Take special care where the route shares Hollins Farm, New Barns and The Knott car park access roads with vehicles.

You must use the pedestrian gates on the course even if you have to wait your turn.  IF YOU CLIMB OVER ANY STOCK GATES, WALLS OR FENCES YOU’LL BE DISQUALIFIED.

Look out for walkers and other users round the course, and respect their rights. There may be conservation cattle on the land so please close any unmarshalled gates behind you.

All competitors must ensure that if they retire from the race for any reason the fact is reported as soon as possible to the race officials, including those at the finish.

Thanks. Enjoy the race!
