2021 Race Day Information

Please read this latest update about Sunday's race on 21st November 2021, which is in support of St John's Hospice North Lancashire and South Lakes.

Holgates are very kindly allowing us to use Hollins Farm as the race venue again this year but you'll see a few changes from the past with the campsite remaining open throughout the winter period. So we'll need to limit our use of the amenities block to accessing the toilets only and also have due regard to any campsite traffic using the farm access lane.In the circumstances we've decided to stage the Senior Race only in order to help alleviate any impact on campsite customers and to try to ensure everyone's safety. 

Registration desk will open shortly after 10.30 and close by 11.45 in time for the head count.

Parking is in the front section of the field off Silverdale Road.Please follow stewards and marshals instructions at all time.No race traffic allowed down Hollins Farm Campsite lane.

Race start time is 12 midday prompt.Please assemble at the start area at least 10 minutes beforehand so that the head count cross-check can be completed in good time.

Entries are on the day only - FRA members £8  - non members £10

To avoid congestion at registration please p/o and complete the relevant entry form beforehand and bring it with you along with the correct amount of cash.

Open to runners age 16 and over on the day (with parental or legal guardian consent signature required for qualifying runners under 18)

Before race day please familiarise yourself with the race route map and directions 

and read FRA Requirements for Runner 2021 " the Runners' Rules"

Kit requirements - while we are hoping for a sunny Autumn day who knows what the weather will be like in late November! So bring appropriate clothing including a waterproof top, leggings, warm hat and gloves and be prepared to carry them if instructed to do so by the organiser. 

Given covid considerations please BYO food, hot drinks and water.

Prize bags for first three men and first three women at the finish line.
